A Writer Director & Actor,

Katy has enjoyed a career that has extended over 40yrs, since her 1st appreanace on our screens in 1971, as

DR WHO's Companion JO GRANT 

She has starred alongside

Jon Pertwee, Sylvester McCoy & 

Colin Baker.

Katy later reprised her role in 

The Sarah Jane Adventures with 

Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor & she continues her connection with Doctor Who, through Audio Productions.

Best known as the ‘Voice’ (& soul)

of Tom Baker’s Robot Dog K9,

who first arrived in the DR WHO scripts in 1977 & seems never to have left.  John is still recording as K9 with Louise & other original cast members for BIG Finish Audios.  

RADA-trained, like Louise, John’s freewheeling acting career spans over 50 years & includes work in repertory, touring & West End theatre besides a spell working in the ‘Golden Age’ of ‘70s Television Sitcom.  He’s been equally busy out of vision as a broadcasting or reading ‘voice’, even performing inside a bear suit as the original ‘Bungle’ in ‘Rainbow’!
